JM: How many different blocks were there?
Shawn: I don’t know how many blocks there were; however, there were normally about 50 inmates per block.
JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Shawn:The blocks were identified by letters S block, R block, Q block etc…
JM: Which inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Shawn: P, Q, and S were the blocks where the inmates with the more serious crimes where housed. Normally referred to as the murder and robbery blocks.
JM: What do you remember being the nicest parts about the different blocks?
Shawn: I don’t remember anything I could refer to as the best part of my cell/block...except leaving.
JM: What do you remember being the worst parts about the different blocks?
Shawn: There was poor sanitation, and a Sphaph (MRCR) epidemic.
