Medications in Jail

JM: Did you always have access to necessary medications?
Shawn: No, inmates had to really suffer before they were able to be seen by a doctor or nurse in sick call.

JM: How did you get your medications?
Shawn: Medications were mainly passed out during sick call.

JM: What types of punishments were incurred for abuse of drugs?
Shawn: You could be charge with an additional crime or placed in the hole for possession or use of drugs while incarcerated.
